(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 26 - The proportion of Italian intensive-care places occupied by COVID-19 patients has risen to 18% after the rate rose in six regions in the last 24-hour period, the national agency for regional health services, AGENAS, said on Wednesday.
It said the six regions were Abruzzo, where the rate is now 21%, Calabria (17%), Campania (13%), Fruili Venezia Giulia (24%), Lazio (22%) and Marche (23%).
It was down in four: Piedmont (to 23%), the autonomous province of Trento (26%), Umbria (8%) and Val d'Aosta (19%).
In total seven regions are above the 20% mark - Abruzzo (21%),Trento (26%), Piedmont (23%),Fruili Venezia Giulia (24%), Tuscany (22%), Lazio (22%) and Marche (23%). (ANSA).
